This mission is all about Deception. First we are surprising different Luytenian convoys and their fighter escorts to weaken the enemy position. And at last we have the chance to fulfill the ultimate goal of this campaign, we can destroy Admiral Lansen's command ship the GTD Kagera. But not everything is as it seems.
Hints:
Oder your wingmates manually this time. Order "Protect Goblin" after every fight and order "Engage all targets" when the three waves appear.
Use the GTCv Goblin for cover against the first wing of the superior GTF Ezechiels.
If it is suggested that you should rearm, you can do it, your wingmates are able to repel the incoming bomber attack. But you can also wait for the Bombers and can collect one or two additional kills and can rearm after that.
Head to the planet after the support ship does not have new orders. If it rearm some of your wingmates, wait for its completion, because some additional missiles can be helpful in the following phase of the mission. I forget it during my records, but you should order your support ship to jump out. Because then you can order a new one at the Kagera battlefield.
After you have arrived the Kagera, order Alpha and Beta to take out one of the main front beams of the Hecate each. Yourself take out the main beam on the side you are facing with the help of your Trebuchets. It is the same beam i destroyed in the Bomber Version of "Bailed Out", the second Mission in this campaign.
After the side beam is down, try to help your wingmates to take out the front beams before all of your wingmates are down. After the beams are disabled, try to survive as long as possible and try to reach the GTC Alligator together with your wingman to protect it against enemy bombers.
The protection of the Alligator can be a tough task, because the Medusas are in formation with some Perseus escorts, which are a very unlikely opponent for you, because you are alone. Try your best, if you are able to, i personally do not have a clue how to handle whole wings of Perseus' and Medusas at the same time on Insane, especially if you are alone. So do not expect to bring the Alligator through. At least the stronger and more expensive (;)) GTC Hussar will survive this mission.
After the Kagera is down, follow the dialogue and return to base when you are ordered to.
